On their most recent album, fully comprised of covers, Whitney covered Hammond Song , by The Roches :   I enjoyed this version a lot, in comparison to the original:  But then, very soon after, at a virtual voter registration concert from HeadCount, Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes , also covered Hammond Song, in addition to performing a new  Fleet Foxes  song:  Pecknold doesn't mention Whitney in the show or posts, but it would be startling if it was a coincidence.  Listen to the new Fleet Foxes song, Featherweight , here:  Also premiered at the HeadCount show was new music by Daniel Rossen (Grizzly Bear)!
